The third quarter of 2024 saw varied performance trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Panama. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated different patterns in downloads and user engagement.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 1.4K in early July and peaking at over 1.6K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 12K, with minor increases towards the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, beginning the quarter with 807 downloads and experiencing a slight rise to 928 by the end. The app had a robust user base, with weekly active users hovering around 37K, showing a slight uptick towards the end of September.

BipBip Rides experienced a significant increase in downloads mid-quarter. Starting at just 39 in early July, downloads surged to over 300 in August and remained above 250 in September. No data was available for weekly active users.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had consistent download numbers, starting at 126 downloads in July and increasing to 190 by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 1.4K and rising to over 1.6K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides downloads remained stable, with minor fluctuations between 85 and 123 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users were relatively stable, fluctuating around 3.8K, with a slight dip at the end of September.
